Bruce's early career was in the audio electronics industry where he worked for a local radio station, then an esoteric hi-fi manufacturer. After that he managed the technical support department at a computer company in Canterbury, then moved to London to work for various City firms as a high-end support engineer. He was a developer and support manager for CIX (where he met Ian), one of the UK's first internet companies. He then worked as a VB and Remedy programmer until November 2008 when, in need of a fresh challenge, he started home computer repair business ComputerFIX Ltd. Having successfully established ComputerFIX, he is now applying his unusually broad experience and wide range of skills to BDI Systems.
Bruce is the resident Apple expert at BDI and is rarely far from one of his (possibly too many) Macs, or his iPhone/iPad (With iOS 5 as soon as he can gets his mitts on it). When not marvelling at new technologies he is a keen photographer, loves running and is entering his fifth London Marathon this coming April.
